More Details
Symmetric Columns and Arms: The Atlas 9KBP includes a symmetric column configuration to offer the widest possible Drive Thru. The Atlas 9KBP baseplate above ground lift has symmetric arms to allow easy access to both sides of the vehicle. The Atlas 9KBP also includes two additional lifting pads that offer an infinite amount of lifting points for the rear lift arms.
The Atlas 9KBP has the chain-over-roller cylinder configuration. The base plate two post above ground lift implements the chain-over-roller configuration. This is the only hydraulic cylinder system that is possible in the base plate lift. The base plate two post above ground is designed for "low ceilings". The direct drive hydraulic cylinder configuration cannot be used in the base plate lift because the hydraulic cylinder would extend above the 9' 3" column when the lift arms were raised to the maximum height.
The "overhead" two post above ground lift may incorporate either the direct drive hydraulic cylinder or the chain-over-roller hydraulic cylinder.

The commercial grade Atlas PV-10P two post lift includes some modifications and improvements that make it one of the most popular above ground lifts in the world.
The Atlas PV-10P is the perfect choice for use in either a large commercial service department or for the "pole barn" owner who wants the "biggest and baddest" lift in the county. The Atlas PV-10P is designed and engineered to safely lift (and work on) everything from a Smart Car ® to a one ton diesel dually.
The Atlas PV-10P (the "P" means "padded") incorporates a "padded" shut-off bar to protect the top of the vehicle from contacting the crossbar. The carriages are equipped with "padded" protective (thick rubber) covers to help prevent the vehicle's doors from damage if opened into the columns or carriages.
The truck adapter set has been augmented (12 pieces vs. 8 pieces) and the rubber lift pad has been reinforced to ensure a solid contact with the vehicle's lifting point.

The distance between the symmetrical columns is almost 123" with a drive thru space of over 108". The extra distance between the symmetrical columns will allow the widest of vehicles to be lifted.
